The word Kung Fu means "Divine Work". To those who practice the venerable arts of Kung Fu, there is the understanding that everything is connected with the divine, thus to pay proper respect every action must aspire to be done divinely. Perfect devotion to the work at hand, and a desire to develop the art within every action, is the basis of Kung Fu. So, a Kung Fu practitioner can express their devotion by practicing not just the Kung Fu of martial arts, but the Kung Fu of floor sweeping, or the Kung Fu of parenting, or in this case the Kung Fu of digital design!

I set out to practice (or aspire to practice) this in my everyday design work. I have been captivated by the eastern philosophies for many years now and in creating this mini-site I felt that I could use the concept of Kung Fu to both capture interest (both visually and mentally) while also expressing my great desire to perfect my craft.
